A picturesque Southern English walled garden provides the stage for natures narrative. The film takes the form of a contemplative visual poem using the seasons and natures natural rhythms to explore our ties (or lack of) with the pulse of life and death. The film combines time lapse with real time footage to create an elegiac depiction of the passing of time. Voice-overs from gardeners, horticulturalists, astronomers and archaeologists provide a varied, and intriguing philosophy on our relationship with the soil. Features a stunning soundtrack by Wendy Rae Fowler.
